The Tundish Review is a Brisbane based literary zine with a focus on canonical poetics and its place in contemporary culture.
We admire and abhor, fetishise and deride all the dead poets that came before us. We are two ambivalent emerging poets seeking to engage and publish similarly emerging and inquisitive poets. We publish original poetry. We write editorial features with a light-hearted (often satirical) emphasis on our rich poetic tradition. We explore how engaging with this tradition is an inevitable but not prescriptive dimension to practicing poetic form. We will be a quarterly zine throughout 2018 and hope to continue providing a space for the diverse and accepting community that has formed around our launch and open mic nights. |
